1. DURATION
The duration of therapy depends on each individual client. Some require a few sessions while others may be required to continue therapy for months or even years. The duration of therapy depends on my judgment of your progress as well as your satisfaction with the same.
As a client you are in complete control of terminating therapy in the event that you feel you are not benefitting from it. By the end of therapy, clients should feel like they can face life’s challenges without therapeutic intervention.
2. APPOINTMENTS SCHEDULING
Appointments are to be made or cancelled only via telephone/whatsapp on +919730501654 via email on Thelisteningroom31@gmail.com, or website.
Kindly do not share this link with anyone else; this link is only to be used by existing clients.
Therapy charges are according to the needs and therapist you choose, each session’s duration being 50 minutes. Fees are accepted in the form of Google Pay, QR Link or via bank transfer. Session will be only booked if the prior payment is done. If the payment is not made as per the above, the session will stand cancelled.
3 CANCELLATION POLICY
Since the scheduling of an appointment involves the reservation of time set aside especially for you, a minimum of 24 hours notice is required for rescheduling or cancellation of an appointment. If for any reason a session is cancelled less than 24 hours prior, the full fee will be charged.
In case of a change in our fee structure, you will be notified about the change 15 days in advance.
4. CONTACT
My counselling services are limited to the scheduled sessions we have together. In the event of an emergency, please visit the emergency room of a nearby hospital or call 91 9999666555
5. PROFESSIONAL RELATIONSHIP
Although the content of our sessions will be private, it is important for you to realize that we have a professional, not a personal relationship. Our contact will be limited to the paid sessions. Please refrain from inviting me to personal or social gatherings. I do not accept gifts or other tokens of appreciation from my clients. You are also advised to withhold inviting me to connect with you on any kind of social media. You will benefit from Therapy most if we maintain a strictly professional relationship.
6. CONFIDENTIALITY
Everything you tell me in therapy will be strictly confidential unless:
a) you direct me to tell someone else
b) I’m court-ordered to do so
c) I deem you as a danger to yourself or someone else
d) if any form of transference/counter transference is developed.
In the event that I will be required to disclose information (as mentioned in point b) about our sessions, I will notify you before taking further action.
In order to be an ethical Therapist, if I feel the need to seek a second opinion on the best course of therapy and to ensure highest quality treatment, I would like to consult either:
a) my supervisor or colleague (certain aspects of your case will be discussed but identity will not be disclosed)
b) your psychiatrist; this too shall be done with your consent.
7.FEEDBACK
In the event you are dissatisfied with my services, please discuss it with me. In case you are dissatisfied with my services or if I feel I lack the necessary skills to work with you in a particular area of concern, I shall refer you to other mental health professionals.
8.TERMINATION OF THERAPY
Clients have the choice to terminate therapy at any point they wish to; however, it is recommended that termination be discussed with the therapist to create an appropriate plan for discharge. You may wish to pause therapy temporarily and schedule sessions on a need-basis. In the event that therapy is paused, resuming regular sessions or scheduling ad-hoc sessions will depend on schedule availability at that time.
Clients may be terminated from therapy in the following events:
a) The client exhibits violence, verbal abuse or engages in illegal acts online
b) Non-compliance with treatment recommendations
c) The client has two no-show sessions (cancellation without prior notice)
d) Non-compliance with payment protocols
